Step One

Today we met with Leigh a fertility nurse at the Fertility Centre we’re considering. She was late due to an EPU (I’m slowly getting the hang of these acronyms 🤓). Of course this deviation had my Leigh freaking out. Thankfully Leigh (the nurse) quickly had Leigh (the husband-confused yet?) back on side with her friendly but factual nature. She explained all of the different levels of intervention and the process my body would go through. It was all very interesting.

She also told us that the most important thing is our relationship together because no matter what happens, we have each other. So we decided to spend the afternoon reconnecting like we used to. We rode our push bikes up into Mooloolaba and had lunch at one of our favourite little spots, then sat down by the river and talked about our appointment.

No matter what happens, we have a great life, we’re best friends and we’re going to get through this together.
